Strength- Based Learning starts with what is strong, not what is wrong.
Fritz Strasburg
I grew up as a student who lived in the space between potential and struggle. I was identified as gifted, yet I faced dyslexia and ADHD—working hard every day but rarely feeling successful in school. Over time, I began to believe the story so many students hear: that I wasn’t trying hard enough, that I wasn’t living up to my potential, that something was wrong with me.
Years later, everything changed when I discovered that the very challenges I had spent my life fighting could also be sources of strength. That realization reshaped how I saw myself, my past, and what was possible. It led me back into education—not just to teach, but to help students understand themselves in a way I never had the chance to.
Today, through Strength-Based Learning Academy, I help students discover how they learn, uncover their strengths, and build the confidence to move forward with clarity and purpose—so they don’t have to spend years questioning their ability or their worth.
